End of support, not end of use: Breathing new life into electronic devices

In my grandpa-in-law’s former study, it’s still there: an old computer with a CRT monitor, keyboard, and tower. When you switch it on, that familiar soft humming sound fills the room — and after all these decades, it still works. So why throw it away if it’s still running? That’s the thinking behind the global initiative “End of 10,” which helps Windows 10 users breathe new life into their aging devices. Because on October 14, 2025, official support for Windows 10 will come to an end.
