The vacation season is slowly beginning – for tourists, the anticipation of an adventure begins. For the locals, this often means stress: overcrowded beaches, traffic jams – and nobody takes nature into careful consideration. Some regions take measures to put a stop to mass tourism: On Tenerife, the daily number of visitors to the Parque Rural de Anaga nature park is limited. Hawaii is introducing a climate tax.
